Hailing from the heart of Minot, North Dakota, Schmidt was born into the vibrant tapestry of a Mennonite Minister’s family. Her early years unfolded akin to the dynamic life of a military family, marked by frequent relocations to diverse cities. From a tender age, Schmidt found solace in translating her surroundings onto paper, utilizing drawings and sketches as her creative outlet. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Arts, she seamlessly blends her artistic prowess with a successful career in International Trade.
